Raising the Question
Were your teachers really as old as you remember?
Have you ever noticed that as you get older, everyone else tends to look younger? I remember going out for a drink with friends and noticing that a lot of the other people in the bar seemed way too young to be there. After a bit of mingling, it turns out that I was just showing my age.
So that got me thinking. Are the old cranky school teachers of our childhood really as old as we remember them? Maybe not.

I have noticed that when I was at early school, I saw all my teachers as grown ups that always knew best. Now I see the teachers that my children have, and a few of them look like they are not much out of school themselves. Is that a sign that I'm getting old?
