My earliest memory is my mum and I at one of her friends house. I remember it well because he had a cool fish tank, and I loved watching the fish. According to my mother, I was about 3 years old. The part that shocked me was that I even remembered the exact location of the house and the street it was on. It goes to show, no memories really get lost, they just get harder to retrieve.
