If you have ever suffered from a panic attack, you will know how truly frightening they can be. When a person finds themself in a frightening situation that they fell they have no control over, they can suffer from a panic attack. This is where your mind perceives a threat so the body goes into a ‘Fight’ and Flight’ response. The fight and flight response is a natural response to danger that releases hormones through the body to enable them to either fight the dangerous situation or to run from it.

The symptoms of a panic attack can vary from person to person. It can include an increase in heart rate, quick and shallow breathing, tense muscles, perspiration as well as many others.
