The big question of the day: Are you an astronaut or an astronomer?
Indiana Jones explained the difference between an astronaut or an astronomer. Astronomers observe the stars around them from a place of absolute safely, but astronauts take massive risks to go and get right amongst them. Are you an astronaut or an astronomer, a go-getter or just an observer?
If you are an astronaut, a go-getter, leave a comment in this post. If you wish to share an example, please do so, if not, just leave you name to prove your point.

I want to be an astronaut, though over the years I've become like unto the astronomer, simply because there has been too much over-stimulation of the senses with action and texting and not enough fresh imagination has come into my head. I hope to change this someday. Or wait, is that not the astronomers way as well? Someday instead of today?

Hi Naugie 21 -- I was just reading your post and it got me to thinking. If you want to be an astronaut, just be one. To say "not enough fresh information" has come into your head is probably an excuse. To say you are not creative is also an excuse. I also used to think that way. Open your mind, all kinds of possibilities will come to your mind. If not, think of something ytou have always been interested in, a real passion of yours, and study that! Soon you won't believe the things you will discover and the action you will start to take. and don't allow social networking and social media to be an excuse. It is something we use, not something that uses us! Just don't fall into that trap! And don't wait till some day! You ARE an astronaut! That's why you answered this post while others didn't. Now continue to go for it today!

Put me down as an astronaut. Some days are harder than others, but I am improving. I don't like to just sit on the sidelines and observe. 2012 is going to be my best year to date!
